Refund policy
1. Scope
1.1. These provisions apply to orders placed via spoiler-regal.com.
1.2. Germany / EU / United Kingdom (UK): Consumers have a statutory 14-day right to cancel.
1.3. Outside the EU/UK (e.g., Switzerland, USA): We do not grant a contractual right of return; returns are excluded. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
2. Right of Withdrawal (DE/EU/UK)
2.1. Right to cancel: You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
2.2. Start of the period: The 14-day period starts on the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier,
(a) take possession of the goods, or
(b) in the case of multiple goods/part-shipments, take possession of the last good/last shipment.
2.3. How to cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g., email or letter). You may use the model cancellation form (section 6), but it is not mandatory.

2.4. Effects of cancellation: We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and at the latest 14 days from the day on which the returned goods are received by us or you provide evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
2.5. Right to withhold: We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
2.6. Returning the goods / costs: Send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of the cancellation. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Note for returns from the UK/outside the EU: please declare the shipment as “Return of Goods”. Any duties/charges caused by incorrect declaration may be deducted from your refund.
2.7. Diminished value: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if it results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Note: Please test items only as you would in a store. Mounting, gluing or permanently screwing parts before the cancellation period ends may lead to a deduction of up to 100% if the item can no longer be restored to its original condition.
3. Exclusions / Expiry of the Right to Cancel
3.1. The right to cancel does not apply to:
(a) non-prefabricated goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
(b) goods which, after delivery, by their nature are inseparably mixed with other items;
(c) sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and were unsealed after delivery.
4. Returns Policy (Practical Guidance)
4.1. Condition/packaging: Where possible, return items in the original packaging with all accessories (this is not required for a valid cancellation, but it helps avoid deductions for diminished value).
4.2. No restocking fee: We do not charge a restocking fee.
4.3. Outbound shipping costs: We refund the outbound cost of the standard delivery option; additional costs for express/premium shipping are not refunded.
4.4. Return address: We may provide the return address on a case-by-case basis (depending on product/shipping method). A brief advance email with your order number helps us allocate your return (optional).
5. No Right to Cancel (outside EU/UK)
5.1. For orders from countries outside the EU and the United Kingdom (e.g., Switzerland, USA), no statutory or contractual right to cancel applies; returns are excluded. Statutory warranty rights for defects remain unaffected.
